Parents as Partners

We highly value the partnerships we enjoy with our parents.

Parents and staff work closely to ensure that the children enjoy everything on offer at The Kindergartens and make outstanding progress.

There are a range of daily, weekly and termly events which parents can take part in, including;

  • Reading to the children
  • Attending celebrations of various festivals
  • ‘Bring a special person to nursery day’
  • ‘Show and share’ day to celebrate our successes
  • Outdoor trips
  • Sports day
  • End of term picnics, to list but a few.

A termly list of events is published in advance so parents can join us.

Special events

We organise a range of additional events throughout the year which offers the opportunity for parents to come along and be part of their child’s journey. This includes charity events, summer fairs, nativity plays, poetry recitals, sports day, picnics and end-of-term parties.

We also enjoy our annual ‘Make a difference day’, which has been designed to give children the experience of ‘giving’ and helping others. Previous activities have included visiting a local charity shop, and delivering flowers to care homes near us.

Open Days

We hold regular open days throughout the year, both for our new and existing families to help build strong connections and friendships outside of the nursery school.

These can be found on our events page, or speak to your Head Teacher for more details.
