Pastoral Care is of the utmost importance to all of us at The Kindergartens, with the safety and wellbeing of every child at the forefront. Our team is very aware of the emotional vulnerability that many children can feel when they first start at nursery as often it is the first time they have spent time away from their families – it is a big step for children and parents alike!

Pastoral Care is important for children because it helps them to grow as individuals and to have a better understanding of the world around them. It also helps children learn how to be good members of their communities, which will help them in their next steps at school. It is so important to us that our children learn to express their feelings and concerns. They have a safe place here, and we want them to grow up to be confident, responsible and communicative of their feelings.
